It's a brilliant moment in history, Andraste,
Sniff.
I can't wait until they're in the WH.
I know - too bad we can't skip the next two months and go right to inauguration day.
The shrub can get up to a lot of trouble between now and then.
HEE! Word verification: demba
Obama has brought back a nice warm cuddly feeling to this country and it does feel mighty good.
Two and a half months is an awful long time for bozo to fuck things up even more than he already has. I worry.
Annie - how far is Norwalk from Bethen/Danbury? Next time I'm in CT - SPOUSE'S family lives there and we go down from time to time to visit - it'd be great to buy you a beer.
Sully - I know, huh? He's unified everyone except those who don't want to be unified. And those folks, I can't help!
I think it's about 40 minutes (mostly because Route 7 is perpetually under construction). Maybe we could find a place in between that serves up a nice pint.
Annie - Haven't been on 7, but 84 is a consistent nightmare. It's improved lately in some sections, but jeez...
Do you ever make it to the Putnam House in Bethel? Highly recommended.
Never been there, but their menu looks quite tasty (as does the food - nyuk nyuk). Have you ever been to the Old Heidelberg restaurant in Bethel? I was having a serious hankering for German food a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't want to drive that far without knowing whether it's decent or not.
Haven't tried the Old Heidelberg but I'll ask around!
Anyone else not getting e-mails in their inbox when someone comments?
This is a test...
