Are the squirrels living near Grove Street in Waltham daring each other to cross the streets in traffic or are they just more abysmally stupid than most? There's a fresh squirrel corpse every time I drive that stretch of road.

Round here it's pheasants - possibly the stupidest birds on the planet. They will wait until a 1 ton vehicle travelling at 60mph is hurtling towards them before stepping out in front to see if it wants to play tag.
It must be a world wide thing. I've seen two dead ones this week too. In Bushy park.
